Thoughts on the curriculum reform on technical and vocational education in rural areas

Education of vocational technology,most closely associated with the economy in all kinds of education,has its own characteristics in the curriculum,which requires the development and utilization of curriculum resources to be enhanced. In this paper,it explores the curriculum reform on technical and vocational education in rural areas from the following aspects: developing and using the local vocational education programs in line with economic development in Guizhou Province; developing curriculum resources including folk crafts,ethnic production skills; emphasizing general education curriculum resource utilization,broadening students' horizons etc. Besides,this paper gives an account of the suitable teaching content and methods,and strives to highlight the characteristics of vocational education programs.
