Abstract
Based on tower crane QTZ63,the ANSYS APDL language is used to establish its overall structural finite element model, which is further applied to discuss simplification of the boundary conditions, the determination and calculation of the load. The static force on the establishment of tower cranes finite element model is analyzed and the results are compared with the actual test values. On the basis of the compared conclusions, the parametric finite element program can be employed for the preliminary design of tower crane and detection of the simulation, which will be beneficial for engineering practice and accelerating the speed of tower crane design.
