Abstract

We proposed to use the Geoprocessing technology which was one core concepts that ArcGIS for desktop software supply to check the spatial topological relationship of the fundamental geographic information database.Therefore,we created a toolset to inspect the fundamental geographic database by custom Groprocessing tool.The toolset implemented automated inspection of logical consistent of spatial data.Finally,taking the quality evaluation of 1∶10 000 fundamental geographic database of Zhejiang Province as an example,we demonstrated and explained how the Geoprocessing technology was applied to spatial data quality assessment of the fundamental geographic database.
