Abstract

Objective To investigate the effects of laparoscope surgery in the treatment of 138 children with indirect inguinal hernia. Methods Retrospective analysis of clinical data of 138 children with indirect inguinal hernia in the disease hospitalized in the first affiliated hospital of Xinxiang Medical University,131 cases were male and 7 females. The average age of(4.9 ± 0.2) years old,114 cases of unilateral inguinal hernia,24 cases of bilateral inguinal hernia.Occult contralateral hernia surgery in 8 cases found,Contralateral processus vaginalis does not close 6 cases. Results All patients were successful surgery, operation time was 21 minutes, hospital stay was 3 to 5 days.Follow-up found that 1 month after relapse occurred in 2 cases, cured after laparoscopic surgery again. Conclusions The treatment of indirect inguinal hernia laparoscopic surgery is a safe and effective surgical method. With a shorter operative time, trauma and faster recovery benefits.
