Abstract

Washout failure on upset parts of the drill pipe caused serious damage to the drilling project,mainly due to upset of parts of the drill pipe design is unreasonable,or the existence of sharp corners,protrusions,so that the formation of vortex upset transition zone,resulting in drill pipe piercing.Defect detector drill upset parts of the measurement principle and structure are introduced to prevent defects in the provision of technical means to go down the drill pipe.
