Abstract

HPLC analysis of the mono-and disaccharide content of fruit bodies of five white F.velutipes strains revealed the presence of rhamnose,xylose,fructose,glucose,galactose,sucrose and lactose.Saccharide composition varied among the different strains although fructose and lactose were the main saccharide components in every case.
