Abstract
Objective To investigate the diagnostic value of ultrasonography for greater omentum metatases. Methods The ultrasonic appearances of 50 cases of omental metastases were analyzed. Results Of all the 50 patients, the diffusive thickening of greater omentum was 20 cases, among whom were 10 patients with hypoechoic nodules, and local thickening was 27 cases, hypoechoic nodules in 15 cases, solitary nodule in 1 case. The 3 caeses were missed diagnosed. Conclusion Ultrasonography has great clinical value in judgement of position and the internal structure of greater omental metastases.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
