Study on the Conceptual History of “JiaoXue”——Taking the textbooks of teaching theory since 20th century as the main line

JiaoXue is the most central concept in teaching theory.The study on the changes of the concepts of JiaoXue in the textbooks of teaching theory will help us understand the changes of the general teaching thinking.From the early 20th century to the 1960s,the mainstream understanding of the concept in China had been influenced successively by Japan which was affected by Herbart's theory,the behavioral psychology of the United States,and the pedagogy of the Soviet Union.After 1980s,our understanding of the concept has formed Chinese characteristics,generally considering it as the unity of teaching and learning in education activities.The statement to educational teaching in different periods' concepts of JiaoXue has reflected that the concepts are generally not the description of reality,but the expression of some ideal standards.These kinds of concepts have an important function in leading the teaching practice.
