Abstract
With mass ratio of polyvinyl alcohol(PVA) to butyraldehyde,pH values of reaction systems, reaction temperature and heat preservation time as main factors of preparing polyvinyl butyral(PVB) and PVB adhesive,so the optimum process conditions of preparing PVB adhesives were preferred by testing butyral contents in PVB and some performances of PVB adhesive(such as holding tack, viscosity, solid content and other performances). The results showed that the PVB had higher acetalation degree and better shape, otherwise some performances indexes(such as holding tack, viscosity, solid content and other performances) of PVB adhesive were higher when mass ratio of m(PVA)∶m(butyraldehyde) was 100∶70,pH values of reaction systems was 2.0,reaction temperature was 85 ℃,heat preservation time was 3 h,and inflow speed of butyraldehyde was about 20-30 drop/min.
