Information sharing and informatization construction in college libraries

Based on the expatiation of the important significance of social informatization work to socialist harmonious society construction,this paper analyzes the impacts of informatization development and information sharing on the informatization construction of college libraries.It points out that the development of global informatization provides a pleasant outlook for libraries in the 21st century,that is,the coexistence of chance and challenge.It puts forward the strategic plans for expediting the establishment of an informationbased library from such aspects as the realization of sharing information resources,the improvement of library staff quality and so on.
