Abstract
External prestress is an approach recently adopted in bridge reinforcement with obvious effect. With clear load bearing path, it can conspicuously enhance the load bearing capacity and improve the structure's stress condition. In light of one reinforcement approach, as well as combined with actual construction practice, this paper presents the design and construction method of reinforcing old bridge with external prestress. Through reinforcing and strengthening original concrete structure for remodeling and revamping, the current resources can be used to a maximum extent with significance on ensuring the safety and extending the life of the old bridge.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
