Abstract

The effects of expanding agent on garlic were studied.Treated by the Expanding agent,the yield of garlic sprout and garlic bulb increased by 6.1% and 16.7% respectively.It had no effect on the height and the leaf number of garlic.The best dose on garlic was 165 g/hm2 and the optimum time was the first expanding stage of garlic bulb.
