An active network management system based on the mobile agent and its realization

Abstract

In the paper,the characteristics of the mobile agent technology and the active network technology as well as their application to network management are analyzed,and an active network management system based on the mobile agent is presented.Some pivotal techniques and methods of active network management are discussed.A prototype system based on the SENCOMM environment has been designed and realized.
