Abstract

Objective: To evaluate the effect of conservative treatment of lumbar disc herniation.Method: From February 2002 to August 2005,281 cases of lumbar disc herniation were treated by physical therapy,analgesics,antiradical injection,and acupuncture.Results: The symptom and appearance of the 245 patients obviously being better,even more recovery.75 patients of 245 such cases recovered after our curing,81 obviously better,89 patients were better than before,36 patients were same like before.The overall success rate was 87.12%.Conclusion: Most of patients with lumbar disc herniation could be obviously being better,even more recovery by conservative treatment.Non operative therapy might be the first choice for the lumbar disc herniation.
