A Study of the Development of Tourism Industry in Guizhou

Guizhou is a province rich in tourism resources. However, the development of its tourism trade remains at a low level if compared with other parts in the country (even including its neighboring provinces). Based on the present situation, Guizhou should catch the good opportunity from the strategy of developing Western China and from China's entry into WTO. It should make great efforts to solve the problems that have blocked the growth of tourism trade so as to speed up an all-round development of tourism economy in the province.
