Abstract

The corrosion mechanisms of concrete and reimforced concrete are expounded in detail. The corresponding protective requirements and particular measures have been proposed. Partial research achievements and their applications concerned with the corrosion protection in our country are introduced also. It is aimed at deepening the understanding on the harmfulness of the corrosion of concrete, and attaching the importance to the corrosion of concrete for different construction departments.
