Abstract
In recent years,with the continuous growth of national economy and the gradual increase of the urban motorization level,the pressure from traffic and environmental problems becomes more and more serious.Improving the service level of public transport and its attractiveness is an urgent need.This study based on the third resident travel survey data in Beijing,analyzes the bus travel characteristics and rules from the perspective of individual travel behavior.Meanwhile,using the Nested Logit modeling theory,this study develops a travel mode choice model based on travel time to quantitatively analyze the effect of the various attributes of individual travelers on the behavior of the bus choice,and proposes suggestions to make corresponding policies for public transport demand management.
