Current status on phylogenesis evolution study of sturgeons

Abstract

The paper reviews the research on phylogenesis evolution of sturgeon, including taxonomy, origin, skeletal phylogenesis, cell genetics and partial mtDNA gene. The ploidy of S. albus, S. suttkusi and P. hermanni may be 4n according to phylogenesis of the family of Acipenseridae (sturgeon). Besides, some questions in this field are also discussed in the paper.
