RESEARCH ON ROOTING OF HARDWOOD CUTTING OF Hippophae rhamnoide L.

The purpose of the study was to investigate the main factors of Hippophae rhamnoides L.on rooting of hardwood.The results obtained by the experiments indicated that there were no significant difference on different parts of crown and branches;between 1 to 3 years old branches,the greater the age,the diameter of the longer length,rooting the better;cutting length has significant effects on rooting,the longer the branches,it take root more easily in the range of 15~25cm cutting length;the rooting rate of hardwood was increased by mixing with fruit marc in matrix;the cuttings could root better in the plastic greenhouse environment of high temperature and high humidity conditions;the rooting characters of cuttings was significantly influenced by exogenous hormone,in order to achieve the best rooting,the best optimal choice is that treated by 100ppm ABT NO.1 for 6 hours.
