Abstract
Through extensive research data shows the south eastern Sichuan Niutitang paleozoic source rocks showed good potential, mainly to study the geochemical characteristics with related data analysis and outcrop samples. Combined with the original organic carbon recovery evaluation samples were analyzed by direct evaluation method, the source rocks derived organic carbon(TOC)content is generally between 0.46 % to 4.9 %, averaging 2.2 %. The apparent source rocks of high organic content. By using a combination of kerogen carbon isotope(δ13C)Act organic precursors maceral method to get the type of organic matter type Ⅰsapropelic use asphaltene reflectance and kerogen pyrolysis come to its maturity generally ranges from RO2.4 % to 5.0 % with an average of 3.4 %, clearly belonged to the mature stage.
