Abstract
Being unique in the art of world painting,traditional Chinese painting is an important component of our national cultural legacy.Having a long history and a splendid tradition,it represents the cultivation and esthetic level of the Chinese people.This thesis hopes that through analysis on the formal characteristics of Chinese painting and the spiritual connotation of it reflected,the esthetic level and artistic cultivation will be enhanced,and the national emotion will be developed.
