Abstract
The main exploration targets are characterized by small burial depth, developed faults and faulted structures in Xichang Basin. The original seismic data with low signal-to-noise ratio and resolution in the basin can not satisfy the requirements for structure interpretation. For this reason, aimed at the seismic geologic condition and given consideration to the requirements for seismic data acquisition design and work efficiency,an observation system with double seismic spreads has been used in a new round of seismic data acquisition in the basin.Application results show that faults, intended zone and various reflectors above the zone are clear on the newly collected seismic sections, and their resolution and signal-to-noise ratio are improved greatly.
