Abstract
People always analyse altruistic behaviors from the angle of ″rational man″ in the neoclassical economics.But the authors hold that altruistic behaviors can result in an equilibrium of the social and economic system and realize the maximization of individual utility in certain conditions.Altruism is a basic condition to achieve rational equilibrium for people.
