Abstract
Analysis of trapezoidal corrugated plates was implemented by using the finite element method and its formulations were deduced. In three-dimensional analysis,an equivalent orthotropic model includes both extensional and bending rigidities was proposed. Then, the analysis was extended to the nonlinearity and the determination of free vibration characteristics of the corrugated plates. The numerical examples of the plates were compared with the calculation of a software package ANASYS.And the results indicate that the proposed approach in the paper has very good versatility.
