Abstract
Banxia xiexin decoction was used to treat the spleen stomach disease by physicians of the past and the present There was obvious effect of the decoction in treating chest pain syndrome which was observed by the author The treatment mechanism of the decoction was:regulating functional activities of vital qi and clearing away heat damp It could be applied to treat the patients with chest pain syndrome due to insufficiency of the heart qi and accmulation of phlegm heat in the interior
