Abstract

The numerical simulation research on aerodynamic drag of train affected by the train windshield configuration is performed in this paper. The results of this research show that adopting big windshield or closed shield can greatly decrease aerodynamic drag, and also give scientific proofs for improving design of the train aerodynamic configuration further.
