Abstract
A real time flying height detecting and controlling system of magnetic pickup head of hard disk is studied.To detect the flying height of the magnetic pickup head,a method of using a capacitance is used.A closed loop feedback system is used to control the flying height of the magnetic pickup head.Finally the flying height of magnetic pickup head can be detected and controlled above the surface of the hard disk within 335nm to 595nm under the small loading force, and within 190 to 335nm under the heavy loading force.
