Abstract

The background and characteristic of Linux are introduced,and the embedded Linux is compared with special embedded real-time operation system. Based on the increasingly high requirements on software of substation automation system, the development process and advantage of real-time embedded Linux are described,and its application prospect in power system is introduced.
