Abstract
GIS(Geographic information systems) metallogenic prognosis technique based on the multi-source geological spatial variates which provide information for metallogenic prognosis and synthesizing study. The foundation of database is important, and designing software is crucial.Based on the field survey's result and metallogenic regularity studying of Shilu iron deposit, variates of metallogenic prognosis were conformed, such as sebesite-diopsidite,producing formation, palaeogeomorphy, structure and gravity anomaly. The area was divided into 15224 predicting blocks by the scale of 50×50×50 meters, then these blocks are marked systematically. The relationships between every metallogenic prognosis and summarized the total values to each predicting blocks, worked out the relationship between the ore blocks in predicting blocks and total values of variates of metallogenic prognosis, conformed metallogenic probability.Through the metallogenic prognosis work,2618 blocks of 1st class predicting are determined, more than 100 million tons bucked iron ore are expected.GIS metallogenic prognosis techniques provide a new way and method for crisis mine peripheral region and exploration in depth.
