Abstract
This study was conducted to investigate the effect of the complex bacillus preparation(CBP) on rab-bit's intestinal p H, small intestinal mucosal morphology, cecal microflora and immune function.160 New Zea-land rabbit of 35 day-old with the same male and female.were random Ly assigned into five groups with 4 rep-licates in each group and 8 rabbits per replicate.Control group fed with basic diet,.Antibiotic group fed withthe basic diet supplemented with enramycin(400mg/kg, 4%),while groups 1, 2, 3 with CBP of 200, 300, 400mg/kg, respectively. The results showed that: compared with the control group, all of group 1, 2 and 3 had asignificanty lower intestinal p H, cecal E. coli and total aerobic bacteria while higher s Ig A of intestinal muco-sal, lactobacilli, bifidobacteria and total anaerobic bacteria(p0.05). Group 2 and 3 had a significantly smallintestinal VCR and plasma lg M, C3 and C4(p0.05). It was conducted that CBP can promote intestinal devel-opment, as well as stimulating the proliferation of beneficial bacteria but inhibitting the harmful ones in thececum. Meanwhile, it can also improve the body's immune function. It was suggested that the optimal supple-mentation in meat rabbit's diet was 300~400mg/kg.
