Urban public transportation construction and urban sustainable development

Abstract

The problems and sustainable development of present urban transportation system are analyzed in this paper. It contends that regional comprehensive public transportation system characterized mostly by railway transportation should be constructed in large and middle cities. In the end, it brings forward sustainable development suggestions for urban transportation system.
