Abstract
Using maleic anhydride and dodecylpolyoxyethylene ether-15(AEO15)as raw materials,a maleate-based polymerizable emulsifier with structure combining the characteristics of nonionic and anionic surfactants was synthesized by a green route.It was shown when the polymerizable emulsifier and traditional emulsifier sodium dodecyl sulfate(SDS)were used separately in semicontinuous polymerization of vinyl acetate-butyl acrylate-Veova 10-hexafluorobutyl methacrylate,the polymerizable emulsifier behaved much better than traditional emulsifier in electrolytic stability,storage stability and the freeze/thaw stability of the emulsion.Also the water sensitivity of the formed film based on polymerizable surfactant was improved.
