CLINICAL STUDY ON EFFECT OF QKX MAIZE EMBRYO OIL CAPSULE ON HYPERLIPIDEMIA.

Abstract
Objective:To study the effect of QKX maize embryo oil capsule on hyperlipidemia.Methods:118 patients with hyperlipidemia were divided into two groups according to levels of serum total cholesterol at random.The patients in the test group were given QKX maize embryo oil capsule and the patients in the control group were given placebo which was similar to QKX maize embryo oil capsule in appearance .Then,the variety of blood lipids was abserved for 45 days.Results:The average serum total cholesterol and triglyceride levels in the test group decreased significantly after the treatments (P0.01).The efficiency of decreasing serum total cholesterol and triglyceride levels in the test group were significantly higher compared with that in the control group(P0.01). The average serum total cholesterol levels in the test group were significantly lower than that in the control group after the treatments(P0.01). There were no significant differences in serum high density lipoprotein levels between the test group and the control group(P0.05).Conclusions:QKX maize embryo oil capsule could assistantly decrease blood lipids levels of patients with hyperlipidemia and did no harm to them.
