Abstract
In this paper,Ni nanotube arrays were prepared using electrochemical method within the confined nanochannels of anodic aluminum oxide(AAO) in NiSO_4 solution. The out-diameter of the nickle nanotubes is about 70 nm,and the thickness of the nickel nanotubes is about 10 nm.The morphology, crystalloid structure and compound of Ni nanotube arrays were characterized by scanning electron microscope(SEM),transmission electron microscope(TEM),X-ray diffraction(XRD) and selected area electron diffraction pattern(SAED).The results show that Ni nanotube arrays are very uniformly assembled and parallel to each other in the pores of the AAO template. The length and diameter of nanotubes are dependent on the thickness and hole diameter of AAO.
