Abstract
Protein content and fat content in rice are important traits for evaluation of nutrient quality which was controlled by polygenes.Recombinant inbred lines(RIL) population derived from a cross between two indica rice varieties,Minghui63 and KDML105,were used to construct a linkage map consisting of 113 simple sequence repeat(SSR) markers.Quantitative trait loci(QTLs) mapping for controlling grain fat and protein content were conducted in 2009 and 2010.5 QTLs were identified in 2009,including 2 QTLs for grain protein content and 3 QTLs for grain fat content;the phenotypic variation explained by individual QTL ranged from 5.44%~5.52% in protein content and 5.42%~7.30% in fat content. In 2010,3 QTLs were detected for grain protein content and the phenotypic variation explained by individual QTL ranged from 6.24%~20.75%.
