Abstract

A high-speed data acquisition system is presented in details. A data acquisition module and a data interface card are used in the system as a specialized hardware assistance extending to PC using the PCI bus. By programming under the Windows OS, the system uses a PC as a control unit to configure and operate the specialized hardware, and performs 4 channels of high-speed data collection, control, bi-directional communications. The solution can be used to many high-speed data acquisition systems.
