ISO 14063 Environmental Management—Environmental Communication—Guidelines and Examples International Standard Explaining and Understanding

Environmental communication is the very important part of the environmental management activities. As the increasing concern on environmental values,actions and performance of an organization, environmental communication has become an essential and powerful tool for the organization to consider itself a responsible partner within society and to address the environmental expectations of interested parties. ISO/TC 207 published ISO 14063 international standard in 2006 which intend to specify the environmental communication activities around the global enterprises.This article explains the environmental communication principles,policy,strategy,as well as the environmental communication activities and procedures,it will help organizations to exactly understand the contents of ISO 14063 and provide useful guidelines for the effective implementation of the internal and external environmental communication.
