Abstract
Based on gridding sampling and random sampling methods, soil samples were obtained from each point under three layers of 0~20cm,20~40cm,40~60cm in different area and time in Xinjiang State Farming,Div 8,148 tuan. The soil water statistic characteristic,semi-variance and the rule of temporal and spatial distribution were also studied. The result showed that the soil water had obviously spatial variability, and the variation coefficiency was in the middle intensity. The variation coefficiency and std.deviation in the first layer were higher than in the others. These results can be used to increase the water use efficiency and precision agriculture in research and practice.
