Abstract
Objective To investigate the expression of Ezrin in gastric cancer and the relation to clincopathologic factors.Methods The expression of Ezrin was detected in 40 cases of gastric carcinoma,25 cases of atypical hyperplasia gastric mucosa and 10 cases of normal gastric mucosa in hybridization in situ and immunohistochemistry.The expression of them and their clincopathologic factors were analyzed.Results The positive expression rate of Ezrin mRNA and protein in gastric carcinoma was significantly lower than those in atypical hyperplasia gastric mucosa,and in atypical hyperplasia gastric mucosa was significantly lower than those in normal gastric mucosa(P0.01).The positive expression rate of Ezrin mRNA and protein had significant difference in different invasion depth,tumor size and lymph node metastasis(P0.05),but there was no significantly difference in difference age,gender and vessel encroachment(P0.05).Ezrin mRNA direct proportion with the expression of Ezrin protein(rs=0.99,P0.01).Conclusion The creation,development and metastasize of gastric carcinoma may descend the expression of Ezrin.
