Abstract

The investigation was performed in the pulpwood plantation of Eucalyptus grandis with different density and different site condition in Sichuan Province. The results show that the plantation with the density of 1665 trees/hm2 in Hongya trial is the best. And it indicates that stock of stands goes up with the increase of stand density in the same site condition under a given density range. It also shows that the growth of plantation is greatly affected by the content of soil nutrients specially total N, total K and soil organic matter.
