Abstract
The function of water and sediment transfer of Xiaolangdi Reservoir to the river erosion of the lower reaches of the yellow river has been analysed since 2002 and pointed out that the water and sediment transfer is benefit to the river erosion.However,according to recent data,river erosion amplitude is becoming smaller year after year.Therefore,proper evaluation of the function for current water and sediment transfer is quite necessary.
