Abstract
During the decision process of selecting traffic modes to go out, the traveler will sythetically consider such factors as time, fees, conditions and accessible traffic tools. It is farely important to know the traveler psychology posture in the process of selecting the traffic tools when the urban public traffic is advocated. The paper brings up the concept of psychological travel time and makes an analysis of psychological effects on selecting traffic mods by quantifying the process and points out several problems appearing in the development of public traffic.
