Abstract

The River2D model can simulate the dam-break flood evolution process in the reservoir dam-break flood evolution process in the reservoir dam downstream.For simulating the reservoir dam-break flood evolution,Youluokou Reservoir is taken as an example,using the River2D model to simulate the evolution of the flood in the downstream after the dam burst,and predict the dam-break risk information such as the flood submerging range,submerging depth and flow velocity.
