Ethnic Culture and Art Versus Traditional Ethnic Sports

Through thousands of years of history,the Chinese nation has created a great variety of different styles of traditional culture and art which are closely related with the traditional ethnic sports.Based on the analysis of the ethnic music,dance and fine arts,the paper believes that the thinking ways,values and the standards of behavior contained in such traditional culture has always been influencing and restricting the development of traditional ethnic sports.The evolution of the traditional connotation has endowed the increasingly developing society with brand new social responsibilities to demonstrate the national spirit,promote the traditional culture,advocate new values and speed up the construction of spiritual and material civilization in minority nationality areas.
