Abstract
Selected 544 earthquakes recorded by DK 1 seismograph in Lanzhou during January 1990~March 1999, the authors have compared and analysed the magnitudes (Ms) on the base of“Preliminary Seismological Report of Chinese Seismic Stations”. The results show that there are relationships betwen the surface magnitude (Ms) deviation and epicentral distance, between epicentral area and the earthquake magnitude. They have also got the magnitude station calibration values in different epicentrial distances, different magnitude ranges and different areas, and these may improve the magnitude determination accuracy in Lanzhou seismograph network.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
