A Comparision of Chinese-Western Ethic Ideas of Love

In Chinese and western ethic ideas,love is a very kernal concept. Hierarchycal love and equal love are the obvious differences in Chinese and western ethics of love.The hierarchical love in Confucianism in Chinese history has been regarded as a basic moral principle in China,and is confined to Three Cardinal Guides and Five Constant Virtues,so the pursuit for nature and harmony can not break away from the society.But in western society,the idea of equal love is always connected with justice,equality,universal love,freedom,law-governing values,and widely permeates the ideology and politics and law system.
