The Government's Performance Evaluation Based on Data Envelopment Analysis:The Positive Study on Eight Cities in Sichuan Province

Abstract

To apply the DEA(Data Envelopment Analysis) method can set up the mathematical model and the index system of government's performance evaluation.The positive study of eight cities in Sichuan Province by using the DEA indicates that it is available to apply the DEA if all cities have the same outer conditions.Moreover the result with DEA may be taken as a reference standard for comparison between these cities.However we should be careful of the influence of exogenous variable to the evaluation so that the evaluation can be more accurate.
