Abstract
By using the data of comprehensive mechanism solutions of small earthquakes and suing the signs ofinitial Pwave recorded by seismic recording, the dynamic changes of stress field of small earthquakes occurred before four moderate-strong earthquakes in North China have been studied.Combined with some previous results,we have generalized preliminarily the dynamic evolution characteristics of stress field in the focal region and its adjacent area before moderate and strong earthquakes, and tried to give out the judgementindex of earthquake prediction with the comprehensive mechanism solution of small earthquake.
