Abstract

The method for collecting the topographic factors such as elevation domain, average elevation, slope, slope direction and location is elaborated in detail based on DEM and examples are set to calculate. The results by error analysis reveal that the outcomes are reliable and accurate to replace the traditional method to collect topographic factors of subcompartment.
