The Subject and Basic Steps of Forest Ecosystem Management

The management of the ecosystem means scientific and systematic management of the forest ecosystem to maintain its integrity, diversity, sustainability, and health. The subject of the forest management, including the government, forest operators, the public and the scientists, is diversifying. Under the guidance of the government all the subjects get involved, coordinate, and cooperate during the management process. There are 7 basic steps for the management of the forest ecosystem, namely, scoping, problem recognition, objectives, policy making, policy conduction, monitoring and evaluation, and structure readjustment.
